Last updated 2026-09-13. Bank Switcher is run by a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Using the app means accepting these terms; if you do not, please do not use it.
What this app is
It is a planner. You tell it which banks you already hold and which switch bonuses you have taken before, and it works out which current-account offers you are likely to be eligible for and the order that collects the most of them.
It is not a bank, a broker or a comparison service, and it does not open accounts, move money or perform switches for you. Everything it plans, you do yourself, at the bank.
It is not financial advice
Nothing here is regulated financial advice, and nothing here is a personal recommendation. We are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Switching a current account affects your credit file, your existing payments and sometimes your overdraft, and only you can judge whether that is a good idea for you.
If you need advice about your finances, ask someone qualified to give it.
We cannot promise you a bonus
Every bonus in this app belongs to a bank, on the bank’s terms, which the bank can change or withdraw at any time and without telling us. Eligibility is decided by them, using records we cannot see — whether you held an account with them years ago, whether they consider your account new, whether they think you have switched too often.
We show what the bank’s own published terms say, we link to them on every deal, and we tell you when we last checked. Read them before you act. If a bank refuses to pay you, that is between you and the bank.
·
The plan is based on what you tell us, and wrong answers produce a wrong plan.
·
Amounts, deadlines and requirements are transcribed by hand and can be out of date.

Nothing in the app entitles you to a payment from us.
The £2 a month direct debit
Some bank offers require you to have active direct debits before they will pay. If you want, the app can set one up: £2 a month, collected by Direct Debit through Stripe, one for each debit the offer needs. You never have to use it — any direct debit of your own counts just as well, and the app says so on the step.
It is optional, it is the only thing we ever charge for, and you can cancel it at any time from the Wallet, from Settings, or with your bank. Cancelling is immediate and there is no notice period and no minimum term.
Payments are collected under the Direct Debit Guarantee. On your bank statement the payment appears under Stripe, who collect it on our behalf, with a reference for the mandate.
One thing to be careful about: if you cancel a debit before the bank has checked for it, the bank may not pay the bonus. That is the bank’s rule, not ours.
Your account
You need an account so your plan can follow you between devices and so we can match any direct debit you set up to you. Keep your email secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting cancels any direct debit you pay us for and removes your data from our systems. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore your plan afterwards.
Fair use
Do not use the app to break a bank’s terms, do not try to break into it, and do not scrape it. We can suspend access if you do.
Our liability
We provide the app as it is, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a bonus you did not receive, a bank’s decision, or anything that follows from a switch you chose to make.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes, and the law that applies
We may change these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means accepting the current version.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
